OSR's Jordon Lambert takes the $1000 to win the Mac Memorial race at Miami County Speedway. Lambert, in his fresh shiny new Suzuki GSXR 600 started outside row 1 and led all 25 laps to pick up a bunch of bonus money! It looks like they have figured this Suzuki out and will be heading to SIR for the Terry Sprague Memorial race where they will be looking to better their 2nd place finish from last year. Congrats!
Ben Browder also picked up his 2nd win of the year last night. Ben took the Wing win at Clarksville Speedway in his OSR powered 05 R6. Ed Klinkhamer also picked up his 2nd win of the year in OSR power r6 making it a non-wing sweep of US24 and Miami County Speedway for OSR. OSR win total so far for 2014 : 49 and looking for more ;) OSR will be working on a very limited schedule this week (6/9-6/13). If you need anything you may reach us at 317-523-4049 or by email osrbikes@gmail.com. All orders and oil pan services will be delayed. We are sorry for any problems this may cause. We will resume normal hours June 16th.
Saturday May 10th brought wins 11, 12 and 13 to the OSR win totals. Boston Mead continued a great start to the year by taking back to back non-wing wins at Jackson Speedway. This is Boston’s 3rd win of the year. Krissy Durr made the jump from restrictor to the open classes this year and has moved up with no problems. Krissy got her first win of the year in the wing car at Miami County Speedway. JB Gilbert knocked the dust off the car and finally made it out to the track and picked up right where he left off last year. JB took the non-wing win at Coles County for his first of the year. Congrats to all drivers and teams. *photo by Heidi Green* May 10th – HOLY BIKES! It took six rounds to do it but when all the dust settled, yours truly was sitting in the winner’s circle. It was an all OSR final as I had to go up against a killer consistent Anthony Disky on the Panty Dropper Bike. PPD turned on the red light and I got the win. Rumor has it there is some money owed as a bet was made that a SUZUKI would win round 2. Ksmooth do you know anything about that? As far as the bounty goes. Kyle Kline was the $50 OSR gift certificate winner when he took out Kenny Selner to capture the bounty. Next race is May 31st and that puts the bounty on me. 33 Bikes showed up for Saturday’s race. This was the best turnout we have ever had at an OSR event. Thank you very much to all of the racers and to Bunker Hill for allowing us to have this race. More wins keep rolling in and we are now up to 10 wins already on this fresh 2014 season. Today's win comes from Lynn Ambrose, who parked his Yamaha R1 powered mini sprint in the winner's circle for the Midwest Mini Sprint Association season opener. Right behind Ambrose was Nathan Mensendiek in his OSR powered GSXR1k. Nathan is taking over the driving duties for 2 time defending champ Beau Binder. Congrats to both teams! The weekend of 5/4-5/5 brought OSR two more victories! Aaron Davis drove his OSR powered R6 to victory at Plymouth Speedway in the Non Wing class. This was Aaron's first win of 2014. Jeremy Zumwalt held off fellow OSR driver Carlee Gress to win his second race of the year and give OSR a nice 1-2 finish at Highland Speedway. If you are racing with OSR power and have news to share, please email us at osrbikes@gmail.com. In what could be shaping up to be a great battle between OSR customers for early season bragging rights on the win totals– Jeremy Zumwalt and Carlee Gress both take wins this weekend. Both have had very fast race cars to start the season out with Carlee having 2 wins thanks to a Saturday night win at Highland Speedway which was her 2nd win in a row there giving her an early season points lead. Zumwalt shook the bad luck bug from the previous week off and picked up the Friday night win at Belle-Clair Speedway! 2014 is looking good for both St. Louis area racers. |
