The OSRBikes.com Street ET championship goes down to the wire last night with Dale Sanders holding his pal Brad Gott by just 1 point in the season championship. Sanders went into the race with an 11 point lead but after taking his only first round loss of the season he left an opening for Brad Gott. Brad won the first two rounds giving Sanders just a 1 point lead. Next up for Gott was Me (Shannon Clem), with a win Gott takes the championship BUT he goes RED on the tree and with his loss Dale Sanders is your 2012 OSRBikes.com Street ET champion by just 1 point. With the loss Gott now had to worry about 2nd place. I got a bye run into the finals and needed to win to tie for 2nd place in points. My only problem was a buy back racer named Dale Sanders the newly crowned champion in the finals. Sanders got me on the tree and was out on me when an airline blew and all I could do was watch him pull away for the event win. What a way to wrap up the season with a win and a championship. Great Job Dale!!!!!!!!
Final top 5 in points go to: 1. Dale Sanders 2. Brad Gott 3. Shannon Clem 4. Bill Heyde 5. Kenny Selner.
Thanks to Bunker HIll and all the racers that came out to support our series. We are already looking forward to 2013 so hurry up spring.

Well mother nature didn't really cooperate this past Saturday and the race was called. We do have the opportunity to do a make up race this coming Saturday the 20th. How many racers will be able to make it? Keep in mind this is the last race of the year on the schedule and is usually the most fun. There is a carry in racers part PLUS PIT BIKE RACES!!!!! This is by far one of the most fun races of the year. Post up if you can go - gates do open earlier (11am) and racing starts a few hours sooner as well -- if we decide to run (which is a pretty good chance) I'll get the time and details up for everyone to see.
We got the "Thumbs UP" from Steve (well not the Steve in this pic but Steve Daniels from Bunker) to go ahead and do the end of the year points fund and awards after our race this Saturday. Steve (Daniels) will get all the points figured out and then we can meet up at my trailer to give out the Championship and the money. We are paying the top 5 this year $150/$100/$50/$25/$25. Pack a few extra drinks in the cooler and come hang out and watch til the end -- I might even let ya in the winner's circle picture with me ;)
