To start the night off Collin Ambrose set fast time of the night in his OSR powered R1 and then went on to run 2nd in the feature. The only guy in front was his brother Lynn who picked up his 2nd win of the year in his OSR R1. OSR's Beau Binder finished 13th after a throttle spring issue. The 13th place finish was good enough to seal the deal on the 2013 Season Points Championship! This is back to back championships for Beau and the Mensendiek Motorsports team. Congrats Beau, Mike and the rest of the team. This season has been a great season for OSR guys in the MMSA - we took home 9 wins in just 13 races and currently sit 1-2-3 in points. OSR has helped power the last 4 season points champions in the Midwest Mini Sprint Assosiation. If you have a Mini Sprint, Dwarf car or a mod lite that runs a 1000cc motor - Give us a call!!!!!! 2010 Champ - Lynn Ambrose - OSR R1 2011 Champ - Collin Ambrose - OSR R1 2012 Champ - Beau Binder - OSR GSXR1000 2013 Champ - Beau Binder - OSR GSXR1000 WOW - what a season this has been so far! In just 4 short years we have went from just a handful of wins all they way to 50!!!! That's right, this past weekend we picked up 4 wins to bring our season total to 50! Trent Wilson picked win #2 at Gas City, Krissy Durr got win #4 at Miami County, Ed Klinkhamer Jr. got win #5 at US24 and Aaron Buscavage picked up win #2 at Flomaton Speedway in Florida. So far this year we have had 19 different winners on dirt tracks across the country. We still have a little more than a month of racing to go so how many will we finish the season with???? Who will be the first driver with more than 5 wins? Who will be the 20th driver to pick up a win???? Please keep the race reports and pictures coming in. Congrats to all the racers/drivers/crews that are working so hard to keep OSR up front! One year ago I don't think we had anyone with an OSR built motor running the dirt tracks of Michigan. Fast forward to now and we have 5-6 guys running OSR motors there and we have 3 wins in the last two weeks. Tyler Herschberger got us started with a win two weeks ago and then this past weekend at the Jackson Speedway big money 2 day show we picked up our 2nd win with Danny Williams on Friday. Saturday night our newest customer Boston Mead took home the win. We just got his motor in on Monday morning due to a motor that was down on power. We were able to freshen the motor up and restore the power and maybe even add a little extra! Boston picked the motor up Thursday and got his first win with OSR power on Saturday!!!!!! Congrats to all of the drivers and thanks for making the OSR presence felt up north! |
